Well the chickens are laying tons of eggs. The Kenny cabin is looking great J3! We are still not unpacked. Tensions are high. We are both applying where we can. Mead is in town till tomorrow. Mud puppy loves school and playing in the muck and mud around here. Things are tense, then get silly .....back and forth. Dad is hiding something from me. His Chemo started again, he was given a clean bill of health 4 weeks ago. Doc said his Leukemia was under control, but Doc saw him Monday and said "Uh Oh!" and started Chemo yesterday, he is getting a C. A. T, scan today. Since when is a scan used for a blood disorder Dad! It is exactly a year to the date the last time my mom was out and about before she took to her bed and never got out. Hard way to head into an interview, but they do want me to come back next week for another interview. Mudpuppy turns 6 Sunday! Tonight we see Dad.

Bye for now. Internet is hit or miss to find me!

Huge truck in my yard, it's still snowing. Mass confusion. Un-organized. Have a ham and brownies done to feed the muscles. in less than 24hours i will only have dial up. I started my day at 6 am and got all my puter updates while i still have DSL. no phone come tonight. If you know Stacey the goat lady that will be our phone number. If you know someone who knows her you can get the number. J3stitches has it. May still be on an old Clann Tartan roster Fortunately there is no school on Monday in Austin so that should give me a bit more time to get Mudpuppy ready for his new school. All the kids at his old school wrote him cards. Had a teacher conference yesterday. Mudpuppy is right in line where he needs to be as far as academics and social skills. He is very sad about leaving his teacher and his school. He has been carrying around the valentine he got from his teacher this whole last week. Found it in our bed 2 days ago. I hope he warms up to his new teacher as much as he did with her. Hopefully by the end of March there will be someone with a job in our house. We decided any job will do for now something is better than nothing. Then we can just sort through jobs up in the cities. The goal is still to move to the metro. But for now we will have a roof over our head. Blessings to the Goat Lady for letting us stay in her house. Send some prayers to her! She has a huge, loving, generous heart.

Ok job market sucks. We all know that. Employers are downsizing UGH! Down here in this town an ad ran for a job opening. 2000 applications!!!!!!! OMG unreal! Ever think about the people you see everyday providing you a service.? How secure is their job? A way to keep them from competing for a job you may want, i have an idea. I think everyone who reads this should at least do this just once.

Be it grocery store, teacher, bus driver, the chick at at the coffee shop who makes your latte everyday. What ever. Some person you see often, that provides a service for you. If you think they do a good job send a letter of recommendation to their employer about how you appreciate that particular employee! This may help them keep their job in this tough time and will make sure you wont be competing against them for a job in the future.

I have 4 i am going to do. My sons bus drivers. Last week i watched the buses slide through 2 stop signs by our house everyday. My sons bus driver was always very cautious, even made my son wait after the bus stopped so he could correct his tires before letting the kids board to make sure the bus couldnt slide anymore. There are two ladies at the local grocery i see every time i go in. One is always cheerful the other knows where every dang thing in that store is. My sons teacher in 100 days of school has my son reading and doing simple addition and subtraction. He loves her so much and is excited to go to school everyday. Each of these people i have encountered have been great and do their jobs well and i think their employers should know.

So take 10 mn out of your week, write a quick note about some person who provides you a service and let their boss know you appreciate the job they are doing. Commit to this! Do that by walking up to that person and asking for their full name and write it down then ask for their boss's name and tell them what you are doing. " I have always appreciated your service to me and with the current job market i thought i would write a note to your boss letting them know what a good employee i think you are." Help these people stay employed. Maybe you can create some good karma for yourself and someone will do the same for you!

Let me hear who you wrote a letter for and why!

OK, is the Anti D's, the stress, or the vertigo? My jeans that where tight in Dec are hanging on me. They dont even fit tight from the dryer. I did loose 25lbs this summer Could not fit in these jeans back then. In 3 weeks with the Doc i lost 9lbs. I've been on the anti D's for a month and the Meclizine for nearly 3 weeks. Who wants to eat when you feel queasy all the time? Now I've been down with stomach flu for 2 days. It was nice to have clothes that fit, now everything is hanging on me..... Don't get me wrong, I need to loose weight, i like loosing weight, but it seems like it's coming off to fast.. I'm kind of a plateau person and loose weight slowly. I feel like crapola. I see the Doc again Tuesday to have a cyst and a mole removed, a fasting ie: more bloodwork, and to look more into this whole vertigo thingy. I got the last of the letters for last weeks "girlie" tests. All looks good. everything is pointing to me being very healthy excluding this depression, anxiety, panic attacks, vertigo and my neck issues.

Packing is going slow.... anyone is welcome to come over and help at anytime!!!!!!!!! 15 days till the move.
Tuesday : Well my hearing test results are in. I can hear just fine and your all MUMBLERS! However the test on my actual ear drums is a diff story. They are not flexible. I was thanked by both nurse and Doc for wearing ear plugs when on the gun range and while messing with cannons! So suspected fliud imbalance behind teh ar drum which would certainly cause vertigo. Treatable with ear tubes. We shall see what the ENT specialist

Wednesday: MRI clean. Evrything coming up clean. Could be a form of migrain vertigo or cervical vertigo which would go back to my neck. Meneirs is not totaly ruled out but unlikely. ENT can't find anything and can offer no help on the ear ringing. He doesnt care for the anti dep I am on. Told me to maintain Chiro care if it helps and next episode get to the closest ER or Urgent Care and have my eyes looked at?

I understand this is a process of elimination but i woudllike some answers so i can move on. or just plain move!

I just always though my tongue was dyslexic. I know a few of you have mentioned how loudly i speak sometimes.

How do you apply for a job when you have to say "i have a ton of medical tests over the next 2 weeks for a condition that will effect my work, so i cant work on such and such a day, or i need a few hours off every other day"? This could be overwhelmingly depressing... however i am choosing to not let this bring me down anymore than i already am. I'm rather fed up with drama and depression. I have made a choice to be cheerful all week and I have been. It seems to be working because i am not freaking about everything. I am helpless over many situations in my life and i must keep moving forward for my son and my hubby.

I tell yah, I have the greatest man in the world.
MRI on Friday. Sunday i had a 4 hour dizzy spell. Sitting in a chair felt like being in a tilt-a-whirl. It was horrible and scary. I have had minor dizzy spells for many years, ear ringing etc. Always manageable and alway though it was my neck vertabra. Often car sick. other minor hints as well. Meniere's Disease is suspected. Or it is my neck and it's now time to surgicly do something about it. I am on a driving restriction which is the sucky part. I just got my DL back Thanksgiving. If i do have this brain disease ( treatable) it sure would explain alot of issues i have had these last 4-5 years. My anti-deps are being dropped immediatly. I was having many of the side effects, excluding the 4 hour erection. I wanted that one! With a move this month this is not the time for me to be really down with a physical ailment. I would rather take the depresison and panic attacks. If i end up in surgery while trying to move and pack I dont know what the hell I will do. Tons of restrictions this week. HRMPH!

Can anyone out there who knows me, think of any instances or habits i have that may be a clue to hearing loss issues?

Scary...
School delayed 2 hours. yesterday school here were closed. Tuesday schools were deleayed 2 hours and monday cause of the snow storm schools let out 2 hours early.

Across the state schools are closed or delayed due to the state required Bio-diesel fuel in the school busses. Apparently the fuel seperates when it gets this cold and clods the fuel filters. I wonder how much of the budget is getting sucked up this week to fix that problem? It would be expensive to convert but cant they go to propane busses at least for the intown school routes? It would be cleaner. Or how about mini electric school busses for intown? Cool, need more busses requiring more jobs... how about that!

Started a new drug today... I feel like crap. It hit me around 11 am as i was volunteering in Mudpuppys classroom.
My ear are ringing, i feel like i want to puke, i keep running to the bathroom and sharp gut pains. I've slept for about 2 hours. I could sleep some more. These are NOT the side effects i chose from the huge list provided. I wanted the weight loss, loss of appetite and reduced menstrual flow. Doc says it will subside over the next two weeks. Yah ok so sure my body feels crummy, my intestinal tract is messed up what a cure! I feel to awful to think about the crap in my head! I want to go back to my herbals. Unfortunately my Doc cant see how they will be covered under my ins. I ran out 2 months ago. no funds to get what i need. $1 for 30 days of feeling like this.. or $175 for 30 days on my herbals which have no side effects. on the 29th i get back the results of some lab work on my kidneys, thyroid and all the other basic stuff. I've left two messages to set up apointments with mental health counseling. They havent called back. *shaking head*. The referal says priority LOL. Wookie and i talked at great length last night. SO much stuff. Long night. I will get an eval on surgery for my neck on the 29th as well. It may be the only option to broden my employement abilities. This is the last thing i ever wanted right now. Have a pending surgery/disability and also have it in medical records that my head is so messed up I am incapable of functioning normaly. Looks like we may have a seperation for a month or two.. This is not what we want. He may live in the cities to find work or work until March then mudpuppy and i will follow. We still have no place to go and an uncomfortable option may have mudpuppy changing schools 3 times this year alone. We are trying to find a solution to not have to do that with him.

Yah well I am SOOOOO like my mother. No i did NOT admit that!

I remember my mom telling my siblings and I that when they were poor early in their marriage they cooked and went to cooking classes because they had nothing else to do. Even had friends over to cook new things. Cooking is rather social if you thing about it. Dim sum, fondue etc....

Well it would appear as though Wookie and I are falling into that. Out of the blue yesterday we decided to try making Calzone from scratch.. Went through my Fav bread book and found all the pizza type doughs are EXACTLY the same. So we gave it a shot. Filled them with diced tomatoes with basil and onion, turkey pepperoni, feta and mozzarella. SUCCESS!! Even cooked perfectly! I think this weekend we will make a mess of them and freeze them. A few changes though. More pepperoni, need to be more "saucey" I think we will try a jarred sgetti sauce a tad more salt and needs garlic! Still thinking about those scottish meat pies could actually do them just like the calzone. I think the middle eastern cooking may be held off a few more weeks. Gotta try to perfect these. We are on a roll.

Put an app in with a very large Minnesota based company N/W Metro. They have their own HUGE building, you pass it on your way to Wayzeta, they are just as big as Cargil. It's a handsome position in my field of expertise. Not exactly the direction of the metro we wanted to go to... but............I'll take it if i can get it.
Yeah life is sure full for someone without a job geeeeeez!

Cooking: Scottich meat pies or Middle Eastern, THAT is the question for this weekend... Not sure which to do. I must say though, with both of us home we are getting more inventive in our menue and trying alot of new things. Pretty cool. Jaimie, any suggestions on the middle eastern? You wifey and the acorn want to try?

Court: Happy New Year? Judge was pleased with the DWP program I am on. Ex's attorney had to be told 3 times what it was. He was playing hardball without knowing the laws in MN. Judge was not happy with him. He is pursing a civil case April 8 still have the state sontempt case March 20. Judge is cool, It's a new one. My old Judge has retired..terminal illness. He did not look well back in Nov. M&D can you get a sitter for the dogs this coming weekend if i decide to do scotch meat pies? Or is it dogs AND school?.

Job Hunting: UGH Since thanksgiving there has never been more than 5 jobs listed in this town. 3 all RN stuff. We are looking in Oakdale, Woodbury, Cottage Grove Area. Yah back to S Wash Co i think.

Home: Clock is ticking. Got to be out by March 1, Hard to know where to look not knowing about work. Cant get Cory to keep packing. At least that is something that could be done. I swear I am doing all the leg work here with the Co finding a home etc. He just rolls cigs plays on puter and watches CSI we get from the library.

Holidays: Could have sucked if it had not been for the donations from Winona Masonic Lodge and rendezvous friends, M&D as well and Lukes family, Ofcourse New years was tough with court and Mead having to go back to his father that day. Company that night. It was all good. I am NOT a LOR geek. Trivia and monopoly... I sucked. got the family cookbook all done for the grandkids for my father. Big job!

Ice: Dont know about the rest of you but we had an ice storm Saturday. Good 1/4 inch on everything. Took about 1.2 to be able to get the driver side doors open last night. I had the vehicles running for close to and hour last night so i could get in and see today when i take off for school. I volunteer mondays at my sons school. Broke a wiper *groan* Everything is still covered in a sheet of ice down here. Roads, Sidewalks, cars. It's a mess.

Thats about all i have to say. LJ takes up way to much time i think. I could go on for hours boring others with my depressed and stressed thoughts and "Issues" around here. Enough drama on LJ without me adding to it. Personally i would rather hear good news and about projects.
